Don't forget to TELL YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT US!
WE ARE NOT A SANCTUARY!
Sadly IDWO has neither the land nor the funds to fulfil this function
Instead we will provide as much practical support as possible to owners in order to avoid surrendering their donkey/s
WHAT IS IDWO?
IDWO is a non profit making organisation formed in July 2014 by a group of donkey lovers all very experienced in welfare work.
Aware of the poor conditions in which many donkeys are forced to live, together with the numerous welfare issues that prevail and believing they could make a difference, decided to go ahead and form an organisation of their own to help as many donkeys as possible.
We are now a registered Charity here in Ireland but the extent of our work will be dependant on funding and donations. We have applied this year to the major agencies for funding this year and await a decision.
All monies received/donated will be used solely to improve conditions for donkeys in Ireland.
All of our Advocates work completely voluntarily.
WHAT IDWO DO

Maintain a re-homing register

IDWO donkeys Millie & Stripes in 2014
We are always in great need for financial support.
Currently, we're saving to purchase a van and horse box to transport our donkeys and supplies to schools to educate children about animal welfare and to the many animal assisted therapy locations: hospitals, mental health facilities, and more.
Even €1 will help. No amount is too small!
